iPad2 - import mp4 video files via SD cards

1. Create an mp4 file with a name like ABCD0001.mp4, which follows the DCF standard.
2. Save the mp4 file on a SD card, under (1) a DCIM folder or (2) any sub-folder (*) under a DCIM folder.
3. Insert Camera connection kit into your iPad2.
4. Insert the SD card into the Camera connection kit.
5. Then import screen will pop up. The mp4 will be save on your Photos application on iPad2.

(*) The name of a sub-folder has following rules:

• First three characters have to be numbers (from 100 to 999)
• Final characters have to be five characters (only 1-byte English characters or numbers)
• A sub-folder should not have the same name with a file just under the DCIM folder
• Each sub-folder should have different three-number. (e.g., Sub-folders 100abcde and 100vwxyz are invalid)

Change shortcut for Spotlight from Command+Space to Control+Space (default):

(Apple icon) > System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > Spotlight > Show Spotlight Search Window (^Space)

^ means Control key.

(Apple icon) > System Preferences > Language & Text > Check Kotoeri (Hiragana & Romaji) & Uncheck US

Install Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac 2.1.1 (to connect Windows PC)

Install Canon printer (MP980) softwares and set up the printer. (suspended)

Transfer iTunes music and movies on my Windows PC to MacBook Pro. (On the MacBook, authorize it for iTunes.)
Sync test between the MacBook Pro and my iPad2.
On the Windows PC, iTunes > Store > Deauthorize This Computer.
